Ethnicity field
Reporting by Ethnicity can be important for organisations and funders alike.
System Admins have the flexibility to amend the options shown under the default Ethnicity field on their organisation's Upshot account. These options are shown under the Ethnicity field when adding a new attendee to the system or within the demographic question of 'Ethnicity' on Public Surveys.
By going to Admin > Ethnicity field, System Admins will be presented with a broad range of Ethnicity options. Here these options can be amended to displayed if an organisation would like these to be available.
Organisations can also choose to amend existing options to Not displayed if they have not already been used for attendee data or public survey responses.
Information on usage will be shown under the existing options and users would have to 'edit' attendee data or 'delete' (in the case of public survey responses) to then have the choice to hide this option.
Identifying attendees with a particular option under the attendee data field can be done via the People Report. Editing could be completed by either going to the profile or via People > Add Missing Data.
The list of additional options available will be kept under review by the Upshot team with external advice taken.
