Auditing User actions
Organisations would sometimes like to have oversight of Users activity on their account.
Whilst there is not a comprehensive audit log for every change made by users available within the account there are a few areas which it is possible to see in relation to user activity.
- Who 'added' an attendee to the system or 'last updated' them. This information is visible within an attendees summary or via an export of the People Report.
- 'Last updated' specifically refers to any changes to their 'Personal Details' tab - i.e. a change of address.

- The Attendee sign-up waiting list has an Audit log available detailing who accepted or rejected profiles from the waiting list.
- When viewing Timeline Events on a attendee, the user who added and last updated the event will be shown. Within the Timeline Events Report export, columns will show the user who added the event.

- Organisations can see which user has uploaded a Media file and when, as well as the last user to edit a media file and when. This can be seen on an individual file, or within the 'Notes' icon on a Media file within the Media Library (Evidence > Show Media).

- When downloading the Attendance Report - Database Table format, and see which user has 'Created' sessions as well as who is the last person to have 'Edited' them - editing can include changing date/time but also submitting the register on that session.

- For Surveys, it is possible to see:
- Which user created a specific survey deployment.
- Which user submitted an individual response on behalf of a participant if the response is clicked on.

- Who sent recent Emails through the system.

- Seeing when users have last logged in from the bottom of the Homepage, this will show all users holding at least the Session Registrar role.

Further to the above auditing available on the system, Upshot maintains detailed audit trails for key data interactions, including user actions and changes to selected entities. These logs can be provided to clients on request. Note there may be a cost associated with these requests. Please contact support@upshot.org.uk for more information.
